The motel was very good and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food. I hadn't heard the term gummy shark since my childhood and it lived up to my expectations, sweet boneless white flesh. Just across the road for the beach and coffee shop! GREAT.

I would not recommend this place to stay. The staff was completely incompetent. I booked a room, with sea views and in the main building, I arrive there and no one was at the reception, and they gave me a room in the family wing, no privacy at all, no one to complain with and when I checked out, I asked why I was put in the family wing after paying a very expensive room, the answer was: " it was a system mistake, we can't know which room you chose from booking. Lies. They can tell, and what they actually did was change the room number by hand, I could see the room number crossed on the receipt and a different one Handwritten on top. Having said this, they don't only lie, they thought I was stupid enough not to recognize this. When I asked for a refund for the difference I paid for a room I didn't get, they said we can't help you and said goodbye. Absolutely, avoid this place.

Scamander is a beautiful place to stay and relax with walks along the beach and the most amazing views over the ocean All though the weather wasn't perfect for our short stay we found things to do enjoyable 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

the stay was very relaxing and yet a great beach for swimming and fishing just down the road and a supermarket next door .The cabin was great with everthing you need i definately recomend staying here.

Scamander Newsagents have great egg and bacon rolls. Scamander Beach resort hotel is a great place with lovely staff, meals and views. The IGA store next to the Tourist Park are so well stocked and have lovely friendly staff.
