TAKEAWAY FOOD IS LIMITED BUT THIS IS A DESERT TOWN ON OUTBACK AUSTRALIA AND WITHOUT THE MINING OUTSIDE OF TOWN IT WOULD ALMOST BE A GHOST TOWN SO WE STOP ALWAYS AT THESE PLACES TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY AND PEOPLE.

Meeka is a mining town which has some beautiful wildflowers in September! It is one of the Rfds bases which operates in the outback region. The granites, the mines and the golf club "greens" are worth a look to see how outback golfers do it without a green!😃😅🤣 At the end of the day the Conmercial or the "Commie" pub put on a delicious meal!
